ParraConnect is an initiative which aims to bring Sydney together to develop new digital initiatives.

It evolved from a partnership between CivicTEC and Parramatta City Council and the community, under its e-Parra strategy initiated by Lord Mayor, Cr Garrard in 2009.

The initiative empowers the community to take ownership of driving forward a long-term program that will create new digital initiatives in the local public sphere, with the aim of helping businesses, community groups, government stakeholders and residents capitalise on the growth of emerging technologies.

Digital technologies will continue to impact the way our future communities communicate, interact and operate and it’s important, that people of all ages, embrace the opportunities that ParraConnect can provide.

From big business to small business, ParraConnect will work with all members of the community to build a better future.

We encourage you to submit your ideas. Your ideas will be considered by the ParraConnect Advisory Committee.

We’ve already identified a number of great initiatives and through continued community partnerships we will continue to work towards our goal becoming a better connected, smarter city.
